Anna Sarkissian is independent
filmmaker from Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from Concordia University's
School of Cinema in 2005 with a BFA in film production. Her short
films have have been shown at the Canadian Parliament, the Cinémathèque
québécoise and on national television (MuchMusic and
MusiquePlus).
Her most recent documentary project is a collaboration with Ameesha
Joshi. They spent eight weeks in Delhi, India, following the Indian
National Boxing team as they prepared for the 2006 Women's World
Boxing Championship, where they won medals in 8 out of 13 categories.
